Disclaimer: 8.6 Blackout caliber is NOT S.A.A.M.I. spec. There have been slight variations in the industry when it comes to barrel manufacturers, with some chambering tighter than others. We recommend using only well concentrically loaded new brass ammunition with this product. Furthermore, as with any ammunition in the 8.6 Blackout caliber we also recommend NOT using plated bullets, especially in supersonic applications. The 1:3 twist rate, velocities and pressures could cause a plated projectile to fracture and break apart in flight, potentially causing serious bodily harm, death, or damage. ONLY USE SOLID MONOLITHIC METAL PROJECTILES.

5.6 Blackout barrel
Barrels appear to be made better than some of the other middle of the road barrels. Spec out good, and easy to build. Will advise when they are shot and how they hold a zero. I would recommend these to the builders and shooters wanting a good AR10 in this caliber.

16in 8.6blkout barrel
I put 80 rounds through this barrel over the weekend. With no copper fragments like I had gotten from two faxon 16in barrels, I was pleased to see the ar10 run so well. I have renewed hope for this gun/caliber. I recommend this barrel highly over the faxon.

Barrel replacement
I have not gotten to shoot from the rifle yet but the barrel fit right without any issues in my PSA upper, everything so far functions as it should (without being able to fire a round due to them on backorder) felt and looked like amazing quality for being less than the competitors. The thread pitch was right for my muzzle brake and it threaded on without issues, I expected the barrel to ship later than it actually did and was extremely pleased with the packaging and what care was taken into packing the box to eliminate any kind of damage to the barrel.

8.6blk 16" barrel
Well made! I have a combo of home made and factory brass (from Aitken) and both chamber no problem. I have an 8" Faxon barrel and the chamber is a bit more picky. This barrel also has a 5/8" thread whereas Faxon has the oddball metric thread. The gas is carbine leanth and am using a standard carbine buffer assembly with no cycling issues. Great price and would reccomend to anyone wanting to start out in the 8.6blk fun and games.
